BMC POWER Engine and Control Technologies Inc. was established in March 2017 under the 100% ownership of BMC Automotive Industry and Trade Inc., which has been operating since 1964, and provides engineering and design services at its research and development center located in Istanbul Teknopark, test facility located in Sakarya, manufacturing hub and headquarters located in Ankara.

BMC POWER is established with an immensely critical purpose on a scale from national to global which is to fulfill domestic, regional and global engine design and manufacturing demand in alignment with Türkiye’s 2023 vision which is significant not only for Türkiye but also adjoin and ally countries due to its geopolitical and strategic location. BMC POWER is consistently working on establishing a sustainable ecosystem to advance in new technologies through long-term partnerships and collaborations both domestically and internationally.

BMC POWER has strong bonds with academy, industry and SMEs which adds value to the sustainable ecosystem formed. All valued members of the ecosystem have substantial impact on engine, transmission, final drive and powerpack design, manufacturing, testing and validation processes which enables them to prosper and grow in integrity.

The very first objective of BMC POWER which is to design and manufacture a powerpack for Türkiye’s main battle tank has evolved throughout the years and BMC POWER currently has a product line of 6 engines, 2 transmissions, 2 powerpacks encompassing various land and marine vehicle platforms all in compliance with customers’ and end users’ challenging performance, durability and serviceability requirements.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Business Development Unit, is established in order to extend the sustainability and development of the attained competencies and built infrastructures to a wide array of platforms. Business development activities are being conducted to expand the powerpacks’ and their sub-systems’ design, development, manufacturing, test and qualification know how and capabilities to marine platforms in addition to the land platforms. Business development unit’s key objectives are

  2. Setting up and preserving sustainable, win-win partnerships and collaborations
  3. Initiating and finalizing the processes transparently, honestly, fairly and ethically
